This is AMAZING. The colors and the lines are indistinguishable from the comic! When I first saw it, I thought that Andy Price had done it. Now I can see a little bit of structural differences in their forms and details, but it's still wondersplendiferiffic!
Twilight: Well, it doesn't matter what she'll do. My friends and I will be ready. Celestia: Yes, you all are indeed strong. But not close to a true alicorn princess like you. Tell me, Twilight Sparkle... Would a single one of you suffice if what you faced is an entire army of changelings? Twilight: What? What do you mean? Celestia: Twilight, please summon your friends here. Twilight: Of course, but... why? Celestia: To show us the true Elements of Harmony.
I've only read the first 3 issues so far, but it's really funny and manages to stay true to the show while being just a little bit darker in tone (or maybe a lot darker, depending on how you interpret a couple of panels is issue 3)
Just by the huge number of sales the comic got, it's good proof that's we all wanted that comic. And it mesmerized the comics' salesmen I'm pretty sure. I've been to a comic store yesterday to get the #4 and it was among the sold outs. No worries, I'll get it by the web.
It's proof too that Andy Price likes to draw Chrysalis a lot.
Wonderful rendition. Wish you to get an autograph on your original.
